  • First, double-check that all HMDI cables are appropriately seated and completely inserted into the back of the Roku.
  • If you have a spare HDMI cable, consider using it instead of the current one just in case it breaks.
  • Also, make sure your setup doesn’t mess with the HDMI signals from the Roku to the TV.

Modify The HDMI Input

  • Your TV’s HDMI input can no longer help your Roku system, however unlikely.

  • Another TV set would be able to display images perfectly.
  • If this is the case, it’s possible that your TV is old and out of date or that a picture quality setting on your Roku is incompatible with the TV.

Examine the Resolution Output

  • If you can see pictures on another TV, go to the Settings and choose the Display Type option. Then adjust the output resolution settings.
  • Then double-check the current configuration.
  • If it isn’t already set to “Automatic,” adjust it to “Automatic” and see if the issue goes away.
  • In case the problem persists, try a different resolution, such as 720p or 1080p.
